4 Months of Married Life!

Ryan and I celebrated our 4 month anniversary this past Wednesday! I have no clue where the time has gone. Our fourth month of married life has been a big one for us. We moved from Fresno to Carlsbad, Ryan started a new job, and we went on our annual Carmel trip with my dad and Laurie. So much fun and excitement in such a little time. I tried to take more pictures this time around, but I know I can do better in the future; it is a work in progress. Hope you enjoy the ones I did remember to capture!

The famous U-Haul. Thank. God. For. Jerry.

Jerry finally made it after an 8-hour trip in this beast! Such a RELIEF.

Attempted to back it up the drive-way. FAIL.

We decided to unload our stuff from the street! I love hate moving.

Our wonderful team- Brent, Mom, & Jerry. We are so thankful we had them during the big move.

One of our best friends, Derek, came to visit us a week later! We took him to dinner at C-Level the night he flew in. Such a great memory.

My sweet sister, Morgan, and her boyfriend, Emery.

Alexandra and Derek :-)

Ryan and Me! Our second weekend in our new city was a BLAST.

My sisters! LOVE THEM.

While Derek was here, the boys played a little poker while the girls prepared for the BIG BACHELOR WEDDING. Ahh it was amazing.

Red roses and chocolate dipped strawberries for the Bachelor wedding premier.

My husband I being silly. We went to Japengos with Morgan, Emery, Brent and Mom on a Friday night. It felt good to spend a night on the town. I still can't believe we moved; still have to pinch myself from time to time.
In case you were wondering how Leon is handling the big move:

He LOVES it!
This picture has a little story.....
I have been taking them on a walk a few times a week. While taking this picture, Leon and Jax started to tug and pull me in a certain direction. I finally stopped looking at my phone, turned around, and noticed a "dog without a leash" slowly approaching us. He looked mean and as if he had been struck by lighting. Within seconds, I realized it was not a dog-it was actually a coyote. SH**. Since I could not carry both dogs, we all took off running until we found a safe hiding place, and waited for my mom to pick us up. Now, I take dog pepper spray and a stick on our walks. I also try not to look at my phone. Life on a canyon is a little different then life in Fresno!

CARMEL 2014
My amazing family: Dad, Laurie, Ryan, Me, Haydee, and Nate. We had the time of our lives (once again)!

Loved hearing the bag-pipers play.

Parents-to-be. Can't wait for JUNE 2014!

I love this man more and more each day. I am not sure how that is possible.

So thankful for these two people. They are so generous during this trip every year. We stay in a beautiful home, eat amazing meals (too many, but that is ok because it is vacation), go to the At&t ProAm Golf Tournament, and shop in downtown Carmel. It is always such a great time.

See what I mean about the food. I think I gain 10 pounds every year, but it is SO SO SO worth it. Carmel has some of the best food in all of California!

LOVE all of these people.

I hope you enjoyed looking at all of the pictures. I might be able to sneak a few off my sister-in-law's blog this week and add them to mine. I always feel so BLESSED after uploading my pictures and creating captions for them. Even though Ryan and I miss a lot of our family and friends in Fresno (especially the babies), we are happy and loving our new life in Carlsbad.

3 Months of Married Life!

Our first 3 months of married life have been fun and full of love. Ryan and I have truly enjoyed each other, the holidays, our family and friends, our life, and just being married. Even though we dated over 8 years before tying the knot, being husband and wife feels totally different in a good way. I think all of our family and friends know by now...but Ryan and I have made the big decision to MOVE! We leave for Carlsbad this Thursday! It is finally starting to set in; only because Ryan and I are living out of boxes, on a few different outfits, and hardly any food. To be completely honest, the clothes/box thing does not bother me much. Having a very small amount of food in our pantry and a limited amount of "back-up" supplies (like, toilet paper, paper towels, napkins, etc) is driving me NUTS. This is the first time in my life that I do not have a back-up supply of all necessities stored away in the closet. FOUR more days, and I can stop thinking about these silly things!

I hate to admit this, but I did not take many pictures again this month! I have to get better at it...it is a New Year's Resolution.

Justin's 10th birthday party was Boston Red Sox theme! His friends wore their favorite team's jersey or shirt. We all had a blast at Sky Walk!

Brothers <3

Even Kinsley got to bounce-bounce! She LOVED it, almost as much as her daddy and uncle!

My husband enjoying the germ-filled foam pit! LOL. He was sore the next day, wonder why!

We saved Justin's gift for his actual birthday!

Christmas #1 of 10. Just kidding...kind of! Good thing I got pictures at our first Christmas celebration. Went down hill from there...did not get many after.

One of Ryan's favorite Christmas presents. A REAL Fresno State football helmet.

YAY! Another Christmas pic! Omi LOVED her blanket. She was smiling from ear to ear.
This picture was taken at my aunt's house...just before we sat down for an amazing Christmas dinner. We are so blessed.

Michelle, Dustin, and Kinsley drove down to Carlsbad after Christmas, and the five of us went to Sea World. One of our first stops was lunch with Shamu...probably should have been our last stop. Both Kinsley and I were scared of Shamu [caught off guard] and did not want to see him the rest of the trip. LOL.

PRE-LUNCH :0)

Pre-lunch still...Kinsley was not happy that we were leaving the big window to go eat lunch! Poor baby girl!

Michelle and Kinz! They are adorable.
* We did buy a group picture of the five of us at Sea World, but I left it in Carlsbad! I will post it on my blog as soon as we move.

We went to our friend's brewery twice while we visited Carlsbad! Dan, my aunt's neighbor, started making beer at home, and has successfully outgrown his garage. He now has a large tasting room in downtown Vista. We had a lot of fun both times we visited! Definitely will not be our last time. These pictures are from New Year's Eve.

Love all of these people! SO much to look forward to.

After we came home from Carlsbad, Ryan and I went to lunch with Omi. This was our last time together before the big move. I am going to miss her so much, can't even talk about it.

In between all of the packing, Ryan and I bought a new car together! It is a 2012 Kia Optima (with leather and wood grain accents as Ryan would say). We did it all by ourselves...kind of. We bugged our parents for days and received a TON of great advice. Ryan had a job interview over Christmas break, and ended up getting the job!!!!!!! He will start his new job in La Jolla, on January 20th; just four days after our big move! He has informed me a number of times that his new job is located on the same exit as Torrey Pines.  I am SO proud of my husband, and even more thankful for him. Knowing he is VERY excited about his new job and our future together is very comforting.

Yes, he is a little proud of our first big purchase together! I will get some more pictures of the new car in daylight for my next post.

Last, but not least...our family got some more BIG, amazing, and exciting news! Lacey, Justin, and Brody are adding to their family of three. Ryan and I will be "auntie & uncle" to TWO new babies this summer. SO EXCITED.

Mr. Brody Wolf is going to be the best big brother! We are all looking forward to meeting Baby Wolf #2!
